Research and Analysis

After thoroughly analyzing the client’s site and competitors, we identified three major areas of need.

  1. The client site has a low domain authority score and backlinks with very low link value. Overall, their competition was doing a much better job with their linking campaigns.
  2. Google Business Profile features were not being updated.
  3. Content issues throughout the site include collection page metadata, blog posts, and no internal linking strategy.

  1. Generate a full site inventory to assess low value content and remove out of stock products and low value blog posts.
  2. Add structure and links to existing website content to strengthen internal linking and improve user experience.
  3. Identify target pages for link building campaigns. Audit backlink profile and continue to analyze competitor links to identify backlink gaps and pinpoint new opportunities.
  4. Add new products to Google Business Profiles and maintain local listings.
  5. Improve Technical SEO and site health by removing broken links and securing mixed content. Audit site to identify additional errors and prioritize technical SEO tasks, then implement fixes.
